One lucky student will be presented the keys to a 2012 Toyota Scion at a general assembly of the student body at the Performing Arts Center on May 23rd. Bob Thewman, General Manager, and Jennifer Parker, Owner Relations Manager for Philpott Motors will make the presentation. More information regarding this program to encourage school attendance has been attached. |

eSchool Home Access Center (HAC)
 |
All NISD parents and legal guardians will have the opportunity to register for eSchool HAC for the 2011-2012 school year. Parents and guardians will have read only access to grades earned by their child and daily attendance informaton. With online access parents and guardians will be able to monitor grades on a daily basis and ensure their child is submitting work on time. There will be no grade surprises at progress report time or at the end of the six weeks with diligent monitoring. They will also be able to see if their child is reporting to class on time and keep up with days absent. Click the Parent Resources link on the left navigation bar for more information. |

NISD Gold Card
The Nederland Independent School District Board of Trustees provides a special opportunity to senior citizens in the community. It's a way of saying "Thanks" to the seniors who have supported the public schools in Nederland. NISD offers a Gold Card free of charge to eligible senior citizens. This card provides free admission to all athletic and cultural events and activities sponsored by the district. More information about this program is provided by clicking this Gold Card link.
